Where Curiosity Leads
Following the quiet pull that brings you back to yourself
There are moments in life that don’t feel big at first.
They’re quiet… subtle… easy to overlook. But something about them lingers just enough to make you pause.
Maybe it’s a thought that keeps coming back…or a feeling you can’t quite explain…or a question that shows up when you least expect it.
At first, you move past it.
But over time… you start to notice it more.
And without even realizing it… you begin to lean into it.
And that’s usually how it starts.
Not with something big…but with something small that just won’t go away.
And somehow… that small moment of curiosity becomes the beginning of something bigger.
where it all began…
For me, that curiosity showed up during a time when I was just trying to figure things out.
I was in therapy, going to group meetings, doing the work… even when I didn’t fully understand what that meant yet.
I just kept showing up.
And I remember my last meeting with my therapist really clearly.
We both knew I was ready to continue on my own.
He told me to stay the course… keep doing what was working… let go of what wasn’t… and that if I ever needed to come back, he would be there.
And like life often does… things shifted.
I didn’t go back.
But I did stay the course.
And somewhere in that process… something began to open.
following the pull…
One of the things that really drew me in during that time… was books.
I was being introduced to perspectives I had never heard of before.
So I started writing everything down… titles, ideas, little pieces of wisdom.
And the more I read… the more something in me began to shift.
Not in a big way… just enough to notice.
And that was enough to make me want more.
One book led to another… and before I even realized it…
I was down that rabbit hole.
Looking back now… I can see the seed had been planted long before.
The Seat of the Soul came into my life when I was younger, and even though I didn’t fully understand it at the time… something about it stayed with me.
a shift in perspective…
A book that really opened things up for me was The Treasury of Light.
It wasn’t something I rushed through… it was something I sat with.
And what stood out the most… was how it kept bringing me back to the idea that there’s always more going on beneath the surface than we realize.
It didn’t give me answers.
It invited me to think… to question… to become more aware.
And that’s where curiosity really started to grow.
Not from having everything figured out…
but from simply paying attention.
doing the work…
From there, I went deeper into my own healing.
And I’ll be honest… it wasn’t easy.
There were heavy days… moments where I wanted to walk away from it all.
But something in me kept going.
And along the way, I learned something simple but powerful:
take what resonates… and leave the rest.
Not everything is meant for you.
And that’s okay.
shifting thoughts…
That path eventually led me into the work of Wayne Dyer… and the book Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life.
And this is where I really started to notice my thoughts.
How automatic they were… how repetitive… how much they shaped everything.
And instead of just believing them… I started questioning them.
Is this helping me? Is it true? Is there another way to see this?
And again… curiosity showed up.
becoming…
That curiosity led me deeper into Wishes Fulfilled.
And this is where the shift moved from thinking… into becoming.
Instead of chasing what I wanted…
I started asking what it would feel like if it was already here.
And then… practicing that.
And that’s when the words “I am” really started to land differently.
awareness…
That awareness deepened even more through the “I Am” Discourses.
It helped me realize how often we define ourselves without even noticing it…
and how powerful it is to become more intentional with that.
coming back to now…

From there… everything seemed to slow down.
The Power of Now brought me back to the present.
Because so much of our stress comes from being pulled into the past… or the future…
and missing what’s right in front of us.
That book helped me understand something simple:
I am not my thoughts.
And when you begin to observe them instead of getting pulled into them…
there’s space.
And in that space… there’s calm.
staying open…
That’s what eventually led me into The Untethered Soul.
And this one really brought everything together for me.
Because it helped me understand that the voice in my head… isn’t me.
And when you start to see that…
you don’t have to follow every thought… or react to everything.
You can just… notice.
And that changes everything.
a trail of light…
When I look back on all of this now…
what stands out the most isn’t just the books.
It’s the people behind them.
The perspectives they shared…the doors they opened…the way they helped me see just a little further than I could before.
It feels like a trail of light looking back.
Each one showing just enough… just enough to take the next step.
where curiosity leads…
And when I sit with everything this journey has shown me…
what I keep coming back to is how quietly powerful curiosity really is.
It doesn’t push. It doesn’t demand.
It just asks you to stay open.
To explore, to question, and to trust what unfolds.
Because sometimes… all you need is a little bit of curiosity.
And a willingness to follow it.
Because you never know where it might lead you.
And sometimes…
it leads you right back to yourself.
